Meet bee: the heart behind it's a girl thing

Hi, I’m Bee — a mum of over 20 years who’s guided my own kids through every stage of life, from those first uncertain moments to navigating the ups and downs of growing up. Alongside raising a family, I’ve spent more than two decades as a beauty and wellness therapist, helping women feel truly confident, comfortable, and cared for in their own skin and bodies.

My career has always centred on natural, gentle solutions that support women through life’s changes — whether it’s daily glow, hormonal shifts, or those unexpected moments that catch us off guard. In 2012, I established my own holistic wellness spa, where I’ve worked independently ever since, creating treatments rooted in kindness to the body and real results.

I’m also the creator of Coastal Minerals by Bee, our proudly Aussie-owned and made certified organic mineral sunscreen line. Designed with genuine care for the whole family (safe from 6 months+), it comes in unique 1kg pump bottles — practical, reef-safe, and inspired by our beautiful Australian coastlines.

Back in 2012, I pioneered a specialised transdermal magnesium massage treatment — and I’m still the only one offering this unique hands-on approach, delivering deep relaxation and wellness through the skin.

As a mum who’s been there, and a wellness professional who understands the importance of feeling prepared and supported, I launched It’s A Girl Thing by Bee to fill a real gap. These emergency menstrual bags aren’t just products — they’re about giving tweens, teens, and every girl the peace of mind to handle first periods or surprise moments with confidence.
